August

So, no update from me since April. I guess the A months are winning out.

It's been hectic the last few months. I rarely get a moment to breathe anymore. This job is crazy and fast-paced. Some days I get home just to take a shower and sleep.

But, in the long run, it's not so bad. I've managed to save more in these few months than half a year in a retail position. That's will taking a little out of each paycheck to use on food and essentials for two weeks between paychecks.

I have today off - which is kinda weird. It's the first day off in over two weeks, but considering most of the other drivers work for almost a month with no break, I'm not too complainy. Tonight they have a company whale watching thing - I'm not going. I waited until I knew what my paycheck would be and then called and asked if I could still sign up today - apparently the cut off date was Thursday. Jerks. Oh well, that's saving the $25 dollars they want from everyone.

Tonight, if I don't hear back from my non-driver friend, I'll go see "Guardians of the Galaxy" and grab some take out. Or I'll stay in and have a "Dr Who" marathon.

Right now "The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" is on TNT. Best day ever. Watching Pirates, then Dr Who on commercials. Best way to spend a rainy day.

So - there's my little update - for anyone still reading this.

Feeling back on my Feet

I've been sick since last Sunday.

I came home from work last Saturday - ok. I went to work, had a $2.46 dinner (foot long sandwich, drink and chips! Hello coupon!), grabbed a few dollar tree snacks and went to see "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" for the second time with a friend then I went home.

Sunday morning I woke up and nearly coughed up a lung. /exaggeration

The entire week was spent avoiding my phone, sleeping till noon, eating cough drops, and beginning my official first online class! Yay! Website Business 250!

Needless to say I feel bushels better, though a cough still likes to plague me when I try and sing still. Ah well, pros and cons of not singing a lot anywho.

For those of you who follow my other blog - the one with all my church notes - I made a discovery. I actually have two other notebooks that kinda correlate. As in I was writing notes in one, then had to finish that day's notes in another one, which I almost posted here. I'm almost done typing up the pink and green stripped one (on page 117 out of 177!). But I found another 2 - one withe all early morning Seminary notes, the other with notes from 2008. I was going to start posting them all in order, but that's not going to happen now. If you want to follow that blog just read the first post first. It'll make sense and give some insight into me. :)

Here's to keep blogging! Cheers! Off to a far better New Year.

"Mr. Devill . . . " Just Kidding!

So, for the next two days I will be filming a movie as an extra.

I am uber excited!! I turned in the items requested (name, phone number, picture, availability, what-not) items this afternoon, then got the call later on. It came as a shock when the call came, and I had to adjust other things that were going on, but I got the job! I have to bring some different outfits, make-up and probably my own lunch for the next two days, but it will be a new and fun experience. I've never really acted much before so it will be interesting to see how nervous I am tomorrow.

I'll be going in not knowing anyone else there . . . which kinda freaks me out, but there's always a chance to meet new people. I'm calmed down from the "squeeing" and "excessive smiling and laughing" from earlier today. I can't wait for tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll be able to snab some shots of what I'll be doing with my cell phone. If I'm able to, I'll try and get some picture up.

Here's hoping I don't completely embarrass myself in the next two days!

Adieu, Cheri.
